2.83" of rain this week, 6.60" in the last 30 days.   Considering that the USDM is showing most of the country as "abnormally dry" or worse, I guess we should be grateful for the rain, although some farmers aren't too thrilled with it. Rounds of heavy thunderstorms are keeping the ground nearly saturated leaving pools of standing water that linger for days. Lawn remains green and growing slowly.  Most apples have fallen and the trees are shedding leaves.  Walnut trees are just starting to show hints of turning.  Local creek has been running at moderate levels.  Mosquitoes continue to be a major limiter of outdoor activity.
