Dripping raindrops from leaves were the predominant sound outside early this morning, as the predominant sight was spider webs sparkling with raindrops - the end of summer continues with grass still needing mown, ignoring the usual dormancy period of previous years - so, it's  wet out, no visible puddles with quite a lot of leaves already fallen
