Raining most of the night snd will be most of the day. We’re around 3.0” below normal for September. We have lots to do inside today. Monopoly day for this afternoon. 
Cloudy with rain now. 60 degrees at 0700 today. Maple trees in our park are getting yellow and red throughout the tree. Milkweed plants are green for some in the shade and yellow in the usually sunlit areas. Pods are getting ready to disperse thousands of milkweed seeds. Still have many plants with blooming flowers. Waiting for Asters to bloom. We still have an occasional hummingbird at our feeders. Bees are still around, but definitely less numerous than usual. We saw one Monarch butterfly headed south this past week. 
Actually was cold enough to put on the heat pump to warm us for our morning shower. 
A neighbor had a fire in a metal barrel last week in a metal barrel. Not supposed to have fires in the park. No issues. No water restrictions. The Merrimack River is actually flowing and the sandy banks and rocks are long gone.
Got our flu and Covid shots. Apparently a new strain of Covid and probably flu is out there. 
    Tourists around the Lakes Region will have a rainy Sunday. Might clear up later tomorrow. Of course, the weekend is over.
