Sep monthly rainfall a bit more on track with total of 1.23" so far, with most of that occurring over the past week. Grass really perked up with the much-needed rain providing a brief respite for the above-average temps. Pine trees have been shedding some needles as they do this time of year. There is normal wildlife activity, and lots of late-summer butterflies. Fields appear to be workable, as most crops have been harvested and corn fields mowed.
