Sunny with increasing clouds and warm with light winds and light rain, then mostly cloudy and warm overnight with light winds. The high temperature was around seventy six degrees, and the low around sixty two degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every day. Goldenrod, Prunella vulgaris, Japanese Knotweed, Soapwort, Chickory and Horse Nettle flowers are in full bloom. Apples are ripening.  All corn have cobs from 6" to 12". Blackbirds are beginning to flock. The local intermittent stream is running at fall levels and the nearby trout stream is flowing at late-summer levels.
