Spring rainfall is surprisingly caring the load as corn and soybeans are looking good and harvest is progressing.  Lawns have been mowed the entire summer so lawns are hanging in there. Tall fescue is the main lawn grass in these parts and some of us mow at the four inch level. Recent rains are light but appreciated.
