FIRE - Checking on the US Drought Map for our area, as of 09/08, we remained in Category D-3 Extreme Condition. However, I am reporting close to normal at this time as we have received 2.89” of precipitation between 09/08 and 09/12.
ENERGY - Close to normal with several days just above and several nights just above our normal temperatures. However, our precipitation has come during the early afternoon hours into the evening hours, which has provided us ample cloud cover to reduce the intensity of the Sun’s rays during these times.
GENERAL - Fairly close to normal Florida weather with an abundance of Thunderstorms around in the afternoon hours. There has not been a day this week when we have not heard thunder rolling around and observed lightening in the distance. Sometimes,, very nearby.
