Our Hot and Dry weather pattern continued this week with no measurable precipitation observed. The lack of rain has continued to cause stress with the grass and trees in our yard. Next, our area soil conditions remain sandy and dry with no noticeable topsoil moisture observed. Despite our drought conditions, I remain hopeful that rain may occur either tomorrow, or by late next week. Lastly, I haven't noticed very many birds recently, however there have been several grasshoppers and crickets in our yard here lately. There have also been several sightings of Red Wasps and Dirt Daubers as well.
