Partly sunny and warm with moderate winds, then partly cloudy becoming clear and cool overnight with moderate winds. The high temperature was around seventy two degrees, and the low around forty nine degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every day. Goldenrod, Prunella vulgaris, Japanese Knotweed, Soapwort, Chickory and Horse Nettle flowers are in full bloom. Apples are ripening.  All corn have cobs from 6" to 12". Blackbirds are beginning to flock. The local intermittent stream is running at fall levels and the nearby trout stream is flowing at late-summer levels.
