We are at 8.51” for the calendar year and 9.99” for the water year, 61% and 59% respectively. We continue to have highs in the 90s. Trees are beginning to drop their leaves. There is and will continue to be significant tree mortality from this long term drought. I planted perennials in my yard this weekend, and the soil was the driest I have encountered in 20+ years at this house. Plants in the open space look terrible.  Everything is dry dry dry dry dry dry.
