The drought is showing no signs of letting go. We;ve had no rain in the past week with some thunderstorms in the distance but nothing here. The creek is totally dry and the pond has also dried up completely. There is no water flowing downstream from the campus. The mowers last week were creating great clouds of dust as they made there way around with little grass being cut. Irrigated gardens are doing well but the grass is more brown than green again. Some deciduous trees have dropped almost all their leaves as if it were November. The deer are seen almost every day and they have little fear of us walking on the trails. We also see plenty of rabbits on our walks.
