It was a difficult week to get through with the combination of high humidity and temps with very little to call a breeze.  Amazing how much the top soil has dried out.  Corn and soybeans showing signs of maturing with yellowing of leaves.  Some indications of white mold or sudden death showing up in some bean fields.  The barn swallows were gathering on the highlines, and appear that some have taken off on their fall flight.  Haven't seen the humming birds at the feeder last couple days either.  Morning light keeps coming later each day-bummer.
