0.88 inches of rain fell this week - 0.25 from daily reports and 0.63 from a multi day report. In spite of the temps near and in the 90’s, this has been adequate rainfall to keep the grass green and the planters and raised beds watered without my needing to. The dew points in the 70’s made being outside extremely unpleasant.Hummingbirds make frequent stops at the feeders, and several monarch caterpillars are eating the milkweed, perhaps hatching into butterflies soon enough that they will be able to migrate south.
