Drain tiles 12 to 18 inches deep are not flowing. Man made and sinkhole ponds are at about 85% to 90% of capacity. Total ETo turf for the period was 1.49 inches. Total precipitation for the period was 0.0 inches resulting in a deficit of 1.49 inches. Tensiometer at 18 inches deep in heavy clay soil readings ranged from 90 cb to 94 cb over the period with a current value of 94 cb. River birch are dropping leaves at an accelerating rate suggesting that deeper soil is beginning to loose soil moisture.
