Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: MN-HN-128
Station Name: Robbinsdale 0.6 SSE
Report Date: 9/6/2026
Submitted: 9/06/2026 9:44 AM
Scale Bar: Severely Dry
Description:
Dry, Dry, Dry, Stagnant! Not much else can be said. I know over the past decades there have been similar dry spells, but I don’t recall anything that include this high heat with Temps consistently in the high 80’s/low 90’s day after day with no Precipitation. With Fall just a couple weeks away, I would tell you I’m seeing several trees starting to change color and drop leaves, but that may be due to lack of moisture. It’s been a struggle to keep my grass going. My front yard I just abandoned and let it go dormant. My backyard, I’ve been trying to redo. After several attempts, I finally resorted to trying seed again, which so far is coming in lovely, though it takes much coordination with watering and keeping a consistent level of watering. Hopefully it will have enough time to strengthen before the Winter Season.
Forecast: Whacky! Mostly Sunny through the week, but Monday suggests near an inch of Rain, followed by a Thunderstorm on Tuesday, but lest that .1 Rain, then Dry through the rest of the week. Finally, possible relief from some Heat, with Highs slipping down to the mid 70’s. More Light Rain near the weekend.
