After all the rain in August, there has been no measurable rain in the past 10 days. Salt Fork River is back to normal flow, and recent heat has helped dry the ground. E-T this week totaled 1.33 inches I actually have to start watering the vegetable gardens again. Corn is starting it's fall dry down and some bean fields are yellowing, normal for this time of year.
