Station Name: Show Low 4.2 S
Report Date: 9/6/2026
Submitted: 9/06/2026 7:26 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Monsoon rains continued to begin the week with a total of .80 inches falling which was the total for the week. Moisture stuck around afterwards with clouds building each day but no more rain fell. Due to the wetter conditions recently, decided to move the Condition Scale Bar to "Mildly Dry" but area lakes are still low. High temperatures were mild with highs in the upper 70's to low 80's except for last Monday when the high was only 67°. The high of the week was 84° on Saturday. The lows were cool and ranged from 50° on Tuesday to 59° on Friday. Breezy during thunderstorms and again on Friday morning. A lot of wildflowers are blooming with orange, yellow, and purple flowers and grasses are green. Harvesting corn now and still harvesting a lot of yellow squash. Not much wildlife seen and even less birds though yellow/green finches continue to frequent the bird bath.
