We had nearly three quarters of an inch total out of storm system this week. Going back five years of records, this is the most rain we've had this early in September. We have normally only had significant rain late in the month. The last two days have been delightful--sunny, mild and light breezes. The rain was enough to keep the landscape moist. Ocean conditions were generally good for fishing and water sports. The Labor Day weekend always brings many visitors to the area. The Paul Bunyan Days in Fort Bragg, north of us, are always popular with locals and tourists.
