A dry and hot week with only one hundredth of rainfall. Temps were in the 90s, averaging 14 degrees above normal. Humidity was high. Crops have begun to dry down. The county finally got our road graded as well as the minimum maintenance roads nearby. The roads were in horrible shape, foot deep ruts due to heavy rains. Nearby burr oak trees have had a heavy mast crop.
