Rainfalls:  This week 1.43”,  last week 0.83”.
With the additional rains that came towards the end of the week, the ground condition is a solid moderately wet. The normal drying out during August never materialized as Chippewa Creek is running at a much higher level than in previous seasons. The mowed lawn is squishy to walk on and the trails in the woods are a muddy mess. There's standing water in the typical low-lying areas. The deer have been very active this past week with mostly bucks showing up on the trail camera by the feeder.
