Just .06” this week coupled with temperatures at our near 100° all week has really thrown us back into dry conditions. The quickness we entered this is indicative of the continuing ongoing long-term drought. Many of the herbaceous perennials are wilting and not recovering overnight. Butterfly and bee activity is at normal. But everything has been affected by the heat this week. We really need some rain.  Durham is still underwater restrictions.
