Our Hot and Dry weather pattern persisted this week with no measurable rainfall observed. The overall lack of rain and continued hot temperatures has resulted in most of our grass turning brown, but there are still some patches of green grass in spots. Next, our trees continue to be stressed at this time, including our Pine Trees, our Crape Myrtle Trees, our Rose-of-Sharon Trees, our Oak Trees, our Elm Trees, and our Eastern Red Bud Trees. I also would like to note that both of our Brown Turkey Fig trees have lost all of their leaves, and our Only Kieffer Pear Tree never produced any Pears this year. Lastly, area wildlife continued to be most active in the mornings and during the evenings.
