After a very wet mid-August, there's been no rainfall at all in my area for the past 2+ weeks. This past week, daily high temperatures have been 95-100 degrees. This has caused lawns to brown up in spots and slow its growth. Plants not manually watered have dried up and leaves at the tops of trees have turned brown. Most of the local corn plants have also dried up & harvest will be starting soon. Another week or two of little or no rain with much above normal temperatures will definitely push us into the Moderately Dry category.
