We are severely dry here … ground beneath the grass is turning to sand/dust. Hay fields look greener than the brown grass around the homestead, but is growing very slowly. We are thankful that today we see signs in approaching clouds of Tropical Depression Edouard. Rain is expected to begin this afternoon.
