All the rain in the past two weeks has passed us by.  The lawn in beginning to brown out and annuals flowers are dying without regular watering.  Harvesting of corn has begun in some areas as high temps are hastening drying of crops.  Ponds and creeks are now dropping fast from lack of rain.  Prairies and field grasses are very dry, increasing fire danger.  We need some rain in this area badly!
