More trees showing signs of stress with leaves turning colors and falling earlier than usual. Ferns along trail in woods are mostly yellow. Lake is low, making my kayak launching from shore very muddy before I can reach enough water to start paddling. Lack of rain and temps in 70’s have made outside activities like hiking and fishing fairly pleasant for the last week. Mosquitoes are mostly absent.
