August was a rainy month for us. August total was just over 11 inches. That is 2 inches above normal. Despite a dry period In the middle of the month, there was plenty of rain in the first half and the last week of August. Overall rainfall for the year is down about 9 inches or 25 percent, But conditions are near normal to mildly wet at this location.
