Cloudy and warm with light winds, then cloudy and warm overnight with light winds and light rain. The high temperature was around seventy four degrees, and the low around sixty one degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every day. White Clover, Achillea millefolium, Prunella vulgaris, Japanese Knotweed, Soapwort, White Vervain, and Horse Nettle flowers are in full bloom. Some apples are ripening.  All corn have cobs from 4" to 10". Blackbirds are beginning to flock. The local intermittent stream is dried out and the nearby trout stream is flowing at late-summer levels.
