A hot week with monsoon moisture around but not much rain until the end of the week. Highs were in the 90's most days with a high of 94° on Wednesday. The low of the week was 55° on Tuesday and Wednesday. A little rain, .03 inches, fell midweek, with more wetting rains on Friday and Saturday. A total of 1.01 inches fell for the week and will put August above the normal average, even if no more rain falls this month. Some gusty winds during storms but otherwise, no strong winds. The surrounding wildland areas look very green now. Saw garter snakes on several occasions as well as finches and hummingbirds.
