A week of some fog, but also some mild, sunny afternoons. The north wind returned for a while yesterday, drying things out. Ocean conditions were favorable for fishing and water sports. Lots of tourists in the area and more will be arriving for the Labor Day weekend and the local festivals. There is a definite sense of Fall coming. Trees are losing leaves and our grape vines are coloring up. The local birds are starting to form their winter flocks.
