Rain on 2 days this week but only 0.23". For the month 1.89" compared to the normal of 4.18. So it has been dry but does not really appear dry by the conditions. Lawn is still green and garden is ok but winding down. My plantings lately has been buckwheat as a cover crop where my potatoes, cucs and green beans used to be. Potatoes were excellent and still have the second crop of beans. 7 tomato plants are supplying myself and a couple neighbors. Being close to the river there is fog most every morning and it takes until 10 or 11am for grass to dry off.  Then much of the lawn is in shade by 3pm. Some of the reasons why this area is looking green. Hummingbirds still around yesterday but may leave soon.
