49.5mm received night before last bringing monthly total to 107mm. By comparison last August was 22.4mm for the month. Normal for the area is in the 70-80mm range so a nice bump from last year where Aug-Sept were borderline tragic. Flower and veggie gardens are producing well as well as turf lawns. Ample sunshine this summer and no real heat waves to speak of.
