We received no measurable precipitation this week. Creeks, streams, and spring fed ponds are normal but the rain fed pond is slightly lower and the wet weather springs continues to flow less. The early corn is being combined now with average yield. Later Corn and beans surprisingly still show no signs of stress. Garden has slowed down some but the greens I sowed ten days ago are up and looking good. Still lots of hay and tobacco cut this week. Pastures and lawns are continuing to slow growing. Apples and pears are beginning to turn color a little early. Timber still showing some stress from heat and lack of sufficient rainfall over the past three weeks. Still plenty of mast for the wildlife. Livestock looks good. We are blessed.
