Near two inches rain all month kept the creek wet & slowly flowing most every day. Nearly ten inches rain in July. Soil moisture in back yard supporting increase in burrowing mammals ( unseen moles or shrews). This is the first year ever we had adult geese repeatedly foraging in the front yard so we curtailed feeding the song birds to discourage the geese from coming here to eat.
