Once more, no rain here -- though we heard thunder and there were showers nearby. Grasses are mostly browned out now, and a few trees are showing some stress (leaves starting to fall) Fire danger still high and burn bans around us, though water supply is good. The heat, constant 100-degree days, has not helped conditions, and forecasts continue them for another week. Still, this is more or less "average" for Texas summers!
