Map of drought monitor shows my area has improved, NOT so. I did receive a nice 0.6” of rain. It made one puddle in my driveway. However if you drive 4 to 6 miles west of me they received a whopping 4-5 “ of rain along with destructive wind and hail. Anyway, thankfully my ponds are half full, not half empty. Cracks are still apparent in the ground in my pastures. Trying to drill fall grain pastures seed in the ground, but drill just scraps the top of the ground. Cooler weather hopefully arrives mid next month. Hopefully rain will follow. Have had to treat ponds for blue green algae over growth.
