Was in the yard approx. 5PM ET today after it had been dry most of the day. 0.12" fell overnight with a brief shower in the morning. There were still wet patches in the yard. I believe this is due to the several days of rain we've had, 2.2" in the last 7 days. Earlier in the summer, the yard would dry out very quickly after a similar rain event.The grass is very green, brown patches from earlier this summer have mostly disappeared.
