Staying with Moderately Dry on the strength of some rain over the past couple of weeks. Landscape still seems dry, but we are also entering into the time of the year when plants are slowing down and starting to senesce. I did note the gentian have started blooming in the past week or so here "Winter comes soon, when the gentian's in bloom". Many of the plants around are stunted but others are doing quite well. River flows are about 50% of historical normals. Year-to-Date precipitation and Water-Year-to-Date precipitation are 72% and 69% of PRISM Normal. I remain under Stage 2 fire ban per the Estes Valley Fire Protection District and Rocky Mountain National Park also is enforcing Stage 2 fire ban.
