Just 1/3 inch of rain in the past week has kept the end of summer weeds nice and green but not much else.  Officially we are in D0 conditions but we have a municipal water supply crisis going on.  Most streams are at normal flows (which isn't much really) with some decreasing.  Birds are eating up a lot of bird seed lately.  A fox has been a nightly visitor to our yard.  Skunks have been seen more often too but I haven't seen the woodchuck in along time.
