Ruth Lake Reservoir on 8/18 at 84%. Rivers inland holding steady or slightly falling while remaining warm. Unfortunately, two more drownings on the Trinity River at Willow Creek. The Mile Post 18 fire near Hoopa now 76% contained at 7600 acres, and Hwy 96 open. Some spring migrant birds passing through, indicating the movement south has begun.
