This past week we had a little over 4 inches of rain which has kept the ground very wet. We have not had any localized flooding. This rain has led to high growth rates for grasses, vegetation and flowers. Some molding is occurring around and on large vegetation leaves, such as squash plants. Humidity levels are consistent with this weather. Birds have been active in search of food. Small mammals have been active as well, though nuts and seeds from trees have not matured enough to attract them. The weather pattern for the past month has been similar to an early spring time period versus a late summer period.
