Conditions continue to be very dry due to only receiving 0.18” of rainfall this week with high temperatures. The five week rain total is 0.58” with most of those days having been in the upper 90s to over 100 degrees. It looks like fall with all the trees turning brown and dropping leaves. Some local ranchers are having to feed hay to their livestock due to no forage available. Streams and ponds are drying up. Fire danger is high and there have been several reports of wildfires lately. Burn ban in effect for a few weeks now.
