We've had an inch and 1/2 in the last week, a little relief for lawns and vegetation, too late for some farmers. D2 drought continues, with very low lake and pond levels. Shallow wells are lower than lows in 2003 and 2012. Deep wells, irrigation, and municipal supplies are adequate. Deer are eating everything in sight, even browsing buckthorn, with their usual foods in short supply due to the dryness.
