Lawn is extremely dry, dusty. Soil is dry. No mushrooms in my lawn or in nearby woods which is extremely unusual for this time of year. Nearby pond is very low, vegetation exposed. The stream it feeds is not running, and the stream bed and rocks are exposed and dry. Rainfall for July 1 to present is 2.70”, which is 1/3 to 1/2 normal for the period. Most thunderstorms have dried up or gone around by the time they reach my town.
