Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: NC-PT-116
Station Name: Greenville 2.8 S
Report Date: 8/22/2026
Submitted: 8/22/2026 8:59 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Recent rains have moved us from Moderately toward Mildly Dry. We are still in a deficit, and it only takes 4-5 days without rain to begin observing stress again in lawn grasses and plants. Some plants have been stressed beyond recovery, notably we have one holly tree that is adjacent to lots of concrete, and drought conditions have caused leaching of water that has damaged the tree. Unsure that it will recover.
Local rivers and streams are still very low; recent rains have done little to increase water levels.

August month-to-date we have received 2.80" but are still 1.46" below / 65% of NOAA normal.
YTD we have received 21.24", 12.10" below / 64% of NOAA normal.
