We have received 1.17 in. of rain this week with some of that coming from thunderstorms.  It has been a very active thunderstorm year, and the storms this year seem to have more lightning.  It has been cooler this week and still humid with my clothes not drying on the line after being out all day.  Not much wildlife moving around.  Vegetation is still lush and I might have to mow the yard this weekend.  Cicadas have been loud this week and I have seen dead ones on the porch.  It is starting to feel like the beginning of fall, but I can't tell if it is from the cooler weather, or the fact that Halloween decorations have been in some stores since July and everything pumpkin spice is coming out in stores and restaurants.
