Description:
Cloudy to partly sunny and warm with light winds, then mostly clear and cool overnight with light winds and light predawn valley fog. The high temperature was around seventy two degrees, and the low around fifty one degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every day. White Clover, Achillea millefolium, Prunella vulgaris, St. Johnswort, Marshmallow, Soapwort, White Vervain, Horse Nettles and Wild Bergamot flowers are in full bloom. Red Raspberries are almost done ripening, Thimbleberries are beginning to ripen. Walnuts and apples are about 1 inch in diameter. All corn are around 84" tall, have silk and are beginning to tassel. A fourth cutting of hay is occurring. Cicadas are emerging. The local intermittent stream is dried out and the nearby trout stream is flowing at mid-summer levels.
