Rain has been very sparse, though we did get a nice shower late last night. Ground is very dry. Corn crops in the area that are not irrigated are drying up and are probably done for the season. Soybean are holding on a bit better but are starting to curl up and looking dry if not irrigated.  Lawn is brown. Pumping a lot of water on flower, and vegetable gardens. Trees nearby are turning yellow and dropping leaves, especially the boxelder and ash.
