My neighborhood had nice soaking rain Saturday the 8th, where I measured 1.06".  Lawns and Pastures greened up, and farm crops are looking good and growing.  I sit at 3.66" for August, 1.42" above normal for the month.  Year to date 2.04" above normal. It was good weather for putting up hay, outdoor construction and activities.  The Baraboo River rose a little above normal.  The wildfire danger is low. Wildlife doesn't need to travel for water.
