Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: MN-MC-7
Station Name: Silver Lake 1.7 N
Report Date: 8/17/2026
Submitted: 8/16/2026 8:10 PM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Things seem to be holding steady, although we never really get enough rain in any rainstorm.
Crops are growing well, and the garden is also growing well. They have all had a good chance to establish roots to pull moisture up from lower levels. Some weeds are getting harder to pull as the soil gets dryer.
The South Fork of the Crow River between Glencoe and Silver Lake on County Rd 2 seems to be staying close to the same level or sinking slowly. Few sandbars have shown up yet.
The local turkey and deer populations seem to be doing fine.
